We're Expecting!

Wildbach Callas of Stormsong (Mara) has been bred to KS Frei vom Vorstland and we are expecting the patter of little paws in May 2005.  This is an exciting breeding combining the best of German bloodlines with English and American bloodlines.  Call or email now for additional information.

“German Shorthaired Pointers bred for excellence, combining breed characteristics, conformation and genetics”

Beauty without brains and birdiness is worthless, yet even the combination of these three pales unless good health abounds.

We recommend that you demand genetic certifications for hips, eyes, heart (subaortic stenosis), von Willebrand’s Disease, and thyroid prior to breeding and that the sire and dam be certified clear of the above before buying a puppy.   Don’t accept excuses; the only way to know with any certainty is to spend the money to do the testing.  If the breeders don’t care enough to invest the money, they won’t care enough to deal with any future problems.   We care.
